We are located in central Oakland, a city of 365,000 inhabitants adjacent to the cities of Berkeley and Alameda in the East Bay region of Northern California. Flanked to the east by the Oakland and Berkeley hills, and to the west by the waters of the San Francisco Bay, Oakland boasts of some of the most spectacular scenery and temperate weather of any major urban area in the United States. All of the cultural and economic amenities of a world class city and surrounding area are perfectly balanced by the proximity to varied natural environments that include protected inland waterways and Pacific Ocean beaches, redwood and coastal range forests, hills, and, to the east, the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range with some of the most rugged terrain in the continental United States.
